Job summary

VFS Global, a global outsourcing and technology services leader, seeks an Accountant in Bogotá to join its international finance team. You will prepare and analyze financial statements, perform reconciliations, and support budgeting and audits in a dynamic, multinational environment.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting, has 3+ years of experience in accounting and tax, and speaks conversational English to communicate with regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Accounting (Contaduría Pública) is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and reconciliations.
• Conversational English for meetings and regional communication.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of records.
• Prepare tax declarations and support compliance with local regulations.
• Create ad-hoc financial reports to support decisions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
