Job summary

Alkhorayef Petroleum Company is seeking a Financial Accountant to ensure timely recognition of obligations and accurate entries in our accounting system at Bogota - Zona Franca.

The role requires a professional accounting degree, bilingual English/Spanish, and strong knowledge of accounting and tax practices, including ERP systems and cross-border transactions.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish (B2 - C1).
• Solid knowledge of general accounting and taxes.
• Knowledge of the dynamics of different accounting information systems.
• Experience in reconciliations and accounts payable with at least 3 years.
• Experience in International Exchange Transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all obligations are recognized timely and properly recorded in the accounting system.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Support financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting as needed.
• Handle accounts payable processes and reconciliations across sectors.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Purpose

Ensure that all obligations incurred by the entity for the acquisition of goods, services, or others are recognized in a timely manner and properly recorded in the accounting system within the corresponding period, in accordance with applicable legal regulations and the company’s policies and procedures.

Location

Bogota - Zona Franca

Required Qualifications

• Professional degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish (B2 - C1).
• Solid knowledge of general accounting and taxes.
• Knowledge of the dynamics of different accounting information systems.
• Experience in reconciliation of accounting accounts.li>
• Demonstrable experience in accounts payable and accounting roles across different sectors, with a minimum of three (3) years.
• Experience in International Exchange Transactions.
