JMK Contractor is seeking a bilingual Project Engineer to streamline operations for residential projects in Miami Beach, FL. You’ll lead payroll processes, planning, and coordination with subcontractors, while implementing scalable systems to support rapid growth.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, leveraging Buildertrend and other tools to deliver on-time, quality results and ensure compliance with coding standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction or engineering, preferably in a project engineer role.
• Architectural or engineering background is required.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required for communication with diverse teams and clients.
• Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar project management software.
• Preferred knowledge of building codes and construction standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately managing payroll processes, ensuring proper documentation, budget alignment, and clear communication with team members.
• Preparing and consolidating daily work plans and reports to monitor progress, document tasks, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinating with subcontractors to confirm schedules, track performance, and ensure compliance with company agreements and standards.
• Onboarding and training subcontractors, maintaining up-to-date documentation, and establishing clear expectations for performance and communication.
• Resolving issues as they arise while designing and implementing systems that proactively address recurring challenges and prevent them from escalating in the future.
• Refining operational infrastructure to create scalable processes, improve efficiency, and support the company’s long-term growth goals.
