Job summary

AstraZeneca Colombia is seeking a Compliance Manager to design, implement, monitor and improve the Compliance and Data Privacy framework. The role acts as Deputy to the Compliance Business Partner, offering risk-based advice and ensuring local activities comply with laws, internal standards, and AstraZeneca values.

The successful candidate will coordinate risk assessment, data privacy controls, audits, and training, collaborating with Legal, Finance, HR, and IT to promote ethics and speak-up

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with knowledge of healthcare regulations.
• At least 1 year in Compliance and risk management.
• Familiar with data protection regulations in Colombia.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in Spanish.
• English proficiency is a plus and digital fluency expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide Compliance advice to business areas to promote ethical decisions.
• Manage risks related to Compliance, anti-corruption, ML/FT/PF, C/ST, data protection.
• Coordinate risk assessment, due diligence, monitoring, and remediation follow-up.
• Implement Data Privacy controls and identify personal data processing risks.
• Support audits, reviews, and investigations with confidentiality and objectivity.
• Develop training and communications to strengthen ethics and speak‑up culture.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR, Audit, Data Privacy, IT and others.
• Act as Deputy to the Compliance Business Partner and Alternate Compliance Officer when appointed.
