UPS in Medellín, Colombia, is seeking a Collections Supervisor to ensure timely payment for invoiced services, monitor customer accounts, and reduce bad debt while guiding a team of specialists and admins.

The role requires a bachelor's in business/finance/economics, experience in collections, Excel and Office proficiency, and advanced English (B2-C1). Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., in a permanent, on-site position.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
• Collections, accounts receivable, credit, or customer service experience.
• Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Leadership Competencies such as: Team supervision and coaching - Performance management - Goal setting and KPI tracking
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Results-oriented mindset
• Negotiation, and customer service skills
• Advanced English level (B2-C1) required

Responsabilidades

• Ensure timely payment of invoiced services by UPS customers.
• Monitor customer accounts to address past due invoices and reduce bad debt exposure.
• Resolve employee and customer issues to remove barriers to prompt payment.
• Supervise specialists and administrators.

Job Description

The Collections Supervisor is responsible for timely payment of invoiced services by UPS customers. He/She monitors customer accounts to ensure past due invoices are addressed, bad debt exposure is reduced, and customers comply with payment terms. The Collections Supervisor resolves employee and customer issues to remove barriers to prompt payment. This position supervises specialists and administrators.
