Job summary

DFX5 Corporation is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Bogotá to support multi-tenant AWS architectures, incidents end-to-end, and customer onboarding. The role blends hands-on engineering with direct customer interaction to solve complex production issues.

You will collaborate with engineering to improve reliability, observability, and automation, and you’ll contribute to runbooks, integration guides, and postmortems. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in cloud engineering, SRE, cloud support or DevOps.
• Strong AWS experience across Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Step Functions.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Scripting in Python, Bash or Node.js.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS, routing, latency.
• Demonstrated customer-facing communication in English and Spanish.
• Based in Bogotá or able to work Bogotá hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support multi-tenant AWS architectures serving production workloads.
• Triage and resolve incidents end to end.
• Lead customer-facing technical sessions: onboarding, integration reviews.
• Build observability: metrics, logging, tracing, alarms, SLOs.
• Automate operations with IaC and CI/CD.
• Write runbooks and integration guides.
• Feed recurring issues back into the product roadmap.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
