Job summary

Omnicom Global Solutions Colombia is seeking a Client Finance Analyst to support day-to-day financial and operational activities for assigned clients. The role collaborates with Account Management, Project Management, and the shared service center to ensure accurate billing, contract compliance, and timely financial reporting.

You will open, review, and close jobs, monitor WIP, coordinate estimates, and oversee monthly billings.

Responsibilities

• Open, review, and lock jobs: billable and non-billable, as appropriate.
• Own job status and ensure changes are executed and reports updated.
• Notify team members of job numbers to keep timesheets accurate and timely.
• Coordinate estimates with Account Management/Project Management and ensure correct entry and approvals in the system.
• Coordinate monthly billings with shared service center to meet deadlines for each client.
• Check invoices for accuracy (amount, billing address, contact) and contract compliance.
• Monitor and add commentary on the WIP report monthly.
• Ensure timely billing of out-of-pocket expenses.
• Prepare, update and analyze trackers weekly for estimates, actuals, variances, billing data.
• Schedule tracker review meetings and align on updates for next report.
• Analyze projects for over/under performance and flag issues to Client Finance Manager.
• Take notes on job status and financial health during tracker meetings.
• Send recap emails and ensure required updates are completed for the next run.
• Perform data-entry tasks: rate cards, opening/closing jobs, time reports, and estimates.
• Assist with adhoc requests for assigned accounts and liaise with Client Finance Manager for submission.
• Collaborate with other Client Finance Analysts to address issues.
• Review transfer requests for accuracy and approvals before transferring to Shared Services.
• Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely client payments and adherence to MSAs.
• Contribute to a culture of operational excellence and work on high-impact projects.
