The Education and Administration Center is seeking a School Security Officer to maintain safety and security for students, staff, and facilities. The role involves patrols, incident response, and collaboration with local police as needed.

The incumbent will work within a school or district setting, following district policies and procedures, and will undergo standard pre-employment testing and certification requirements, including POS T if applicable.

Formación

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
• Pre-employment psychological assessment required.
• POS T certification with an additional $1.50 per hour bonus.
• Must maintain confidentiality and operate with limited supervision.
• Responds to alarms and coordinates with law enforcement as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Reports for scheduled shifts consistently and punctually.
• Patrols property and facilities to maintain safety and security.
• Responds to alarms, incidents, and emergencies and documents actions taken.
• Assists administrators with student disciplinary matters as requested.
• Intervenes to halt fights, disturbances, or potential threats and defuses threats.
• Coordinates with district personnel and police during investigations.
