INGEPSY is seeking a dedicated Security Officer in Bogotá to protect people and assets in a dynamic, international environment. The role focuses on patrolling, access control, CCTV monitoring, and rapid incident response to safeguard operations in the heart of the city.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years in security, strong Spanish communication, and a commitment to integrity, with rotating day/night shifts in a 24/7 setting.

Formación

• Fluent Spanish required for strong spoken and written communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; security training/certification preferred.
• Minimum two years in security or related roles; experience in corporate or institutional settings advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol assigned areas regularly to ensure safety of personnel and property.
• Manage access points: verify credentials, control entry/exit, and restrict access to secure zones.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms and access control systems to detect incidents and respond appropriately.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with supervisors or authorities when required.
• Document incidents with clear, accurate reports and follow-up actions.
• Inspect and maintain security hardware and systems to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with teams to uphold security protocols and improve safety procedures.

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Security Officer to join our team and ensure safety and security for our operations in the heart of Bogotá.

What youll do

• Patrol assigned areas regularly and monitor premises to ensure safety of personnel, property and equipment.
• Manage access points: check credentials, control entry/exit, and verify that only authorized individuals enter secure zones.
• Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, accesscontrol systems) to detect and respond to any irregular activities or incidents.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, safety hazards or security breaches, coordinating with supervisors or authorities when required.
• Document, report and log any incidents, irregularities or maintenance needs producing clear, accurate reports and supporting followup actions.
• Assist with inspection and maintenance of security hardware and systems, ensuring all equipment remains operational and up to standard.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to uphold security protocols and continuously improve safety procedures.

Who were looking for

• Fluent Spanish (strong spoken and written communication).
• High school diploma or equivalent; ideally with prior training, certification or experience in security, surveillance, or related field.
• Minimum of two years experience in security, surveillance, facility protection or similar roles ideally in corporate, institutional, or liveoperation settings.
• Familiarity with CCTV, alarm systems, access control technology or other security tools is an advantage.
• High sense of responsibility, honesty, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Good physical fitness and readiness to work rotating shifts (day/night, weekends, holidays) in a 24/7 operational context.
• Strong awareness, attention to detail, situational judgement and ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
