Liberty High School is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning, supervising, assisting staff and students, and supporting event setups. The role requires adherence to SDS and blood-borne pathogen training within two months of hire.

The incumbent will perform routine custodial tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and assist with safety drills, minor repairs, and maintaining a welcoming learning environment.

Formación

• Reports to work as scheduled.
• Attains proficient or higher evaluations on performance standards.
• Assists in cafeteria and other areas as directed.
• Assists students and staff with items and performs minor repairs as needed.
• Assists with safety drills and emergencies as directed.
• Cleans hazards and spills per best practices and regulations.
• Cleans desks, counters, toilets, sinks, and related areas.
• Ensures facilities are safe and operational for students, staff, and community.
• Monitors utilities and assists in emergency shut-offs.
• Moves and transports materials, furniture, and equipment as needed.
• Performs building upkeep tasks including painting and non-routine maintenance.
• Performs crossing guard duties as directed.
• Processes and completes internal work requests.
• Removes and disposes of trash in facilities and grounds.
• Removes snow and ice; reports discrepancies.
• Sanitizes rooms and facilities where applicable (restrooms, fountains, gymnasia, pools, locker rooms).
• Sets up for regular and special events.
• Vacuums, shampoos, and mops floors and stairs as needed.
