Scale Up Recruiting Partners seeks a Business Operations Associate for a US client, a technology-driven property management company. This role supports founders by streamlining processes, building AI-assisted workflows, and driving operational excellence.

Based in Latin America and able to work US Pacific business hours, you will own automation, create SOPs, train new team members, lead special projects, and develop reporting models to inform executive decisions.

• Native or fully bilingual Spanish and fluent English.

• Approximately 2 to 5 years of professional experience.
• Track record of excellence across academic, extracurricular, and professional activities.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Project management experience and the ability to execute complex tasks independently.
• Comfort with technology and fluency with AI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Automation and systems: Identify manual, repetitive, and error-prone work across the business and eliminate it. Design, build, test, and maintain workflows and AI-assisted processes on AppFolio and our client's wider technology stack.
• Training and enablement: Document processes into SOPs, build training materials, and onboard new team members.
• Special projects: Lead discrete initiatives such as new market entry, vendor negotiations, pricing analysis, portfolio migrations, and reporting overhauls.
• Operational excellence: Own KPI targets, identify where processes break down, and resolve root causes.
• Analysis and reporting: Build the models and reporting that inform founder decision making, and make clear recommendations.
• Team support: Coach and coordinate team members supporting your initiatives.

Hey! We're Scale Up, and our client is looking for a Business Operations Associate to join a fast-growing, technology-driven property management company in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical, proactive, and execution-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex business problems, improving processes, and working directly with experienced entrepreneurs.

Company Background

Our client is a technology-driven property management company operating across Southern California in the US. They grew to 500+ units under management in under a year, representing over $20M in annual revenue across the properties in their portfolio, and they are continuing to grow exponentially.

Our client was founded by ex-MBB consultants (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) who became real estate developers. Between them they have started more than a dozen companies and raised over $50M in funding. They built the company after years of hiring property managers who could not hold their portfolio to the standard they held it to themselves.

Property management is an industry that still runs largely on phone calls, paper work orders, and institutional memory. Our client operates differently. AI agents triage maintenance requests, workflows are automated end to end, and a small, high-caliber team manages a portfolio that would conventionally require several times the headcount. They are looking for someone to help them build that system out.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the founders, you will support and lead work across the business in both a planning and an execution capacity:

Profile

Required

• Native or fully bilingual Spanish, plus fluent professional English
• Based outside the United States and able to work US Pacific business hours
• Bachelor's degree (business, engineering, or economics preferred)
• Approximately 2 to 5 years of professional experience
• Track record of excellence across academic, extracurricular, and professional activities
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Project management experience and the ability to execute complex tasks independently
• Comfort with technology and fluency with AI tools

Preferred

• Experience at a leading management consulting firm or a rigorous corporate analyst program
• Experience in entrepreneurship or startups
• Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium, or similar property management platforms
• Experience with automation tooling (Zapier, Make, n8n), SQL, or Python
