Lean Solutions Group is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support our billing operations in Colombia. You will process billing requests, reconcile invoices, and maintain accurate records while ensuring timely submissions and client responsiveness.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of billing or AR experience, strong Excel and Outlook skills, and proficiency with e-billing platforms. English at B2+ is required.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support the organization's billing operations by processing billing requests, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely invoice submission and reconciliation. This role is responsible for managing billing-related documentation, resolving invoice discrepancies, and providing excellent customer service while supporting the overall billing cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Process billing requests and ensure accurate entry of billing information into internal systems.
• Review, verify, and reconcile invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with billing requirements.
• Monitor billing statuses and respond to client requests through designated billing platforms.
• Perform e-billing activities, including invoice submissions, resubmissions, reconciliation, and expense documentation.
• Investigate and resolve rejected invoices, billing discrepancies, and claim adjustments.
• Maintain billing records, reconciliation logs, and supporting documentation.
• Review vendor invoices and follow up on outstanding items when necessary.
• Complete matter reconciliation processes and maintain accurate case records.
• Generate billing reports and support monthly billing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve billing inquiries and ensure timely payment processing.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or a related financial operations role.
• English level: B2+ (written and verbal).
• Experience processing invoices, reconciling billing records, and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with e-billing platforms or billing management systems is preferred.
