Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading a manual QA team through full release cycles.
• Strong ability to plan tests, estimate effort and review requirements.
• Familiarity with Jira and Xray or similar test management tools.
• Comfort using AI tools to write and maintain test cases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with PMs and developers.
• Experience testing web applications; e-commerce background preferred.
• Familiarity with Playwright and TypeScript is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in grooming meetings to review requirements and identify gaps.
• Estimate testing effort for upcoming projects and releases.
• Serve as a technical resource for testers and understand application functionality.
• Develop test plans and distribute testing tasks across the team.
• Maintain and update the test suite as features evolve.
• Handle the most complex and high-risk testing activities.
• Coordinate with PMs and engineers on multi-team features.
• Write and maintain test cases for the automation team.
• Balance leadership with hands-on testing (~50% each).
