Job summary

Zipdev LLC is seeking a QA Engineer to champion quality across the software lifecycle. You will design, implement, and maintain test strategies for UI, API, and integration testing while driving automation and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Development, Product Management, Technical Support, Documentation, and Customer-facing teams to ensure quality from concept to release and production support. The role emphasizes test automation within Agile and CI/CD contexts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
ISEB / ISTQB Foundation certification (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test strategies covering UI, API, integration, system, and regression
Conduct smoke, functional, integration, compatibility, performance, regression, and exploratory testing (manual and automated)
Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using appropriate tools and frameworks
Ensure testing aligns with Agile delivery and CI/CD pipelines
Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear steps and evidence
Collaborate with developers to analyze root causes and validate fixes
Promote quality best practices and shift-left mindset across teams
