Job summary

Gallagher is hiring for a role focused on maintaining and improving employee benefits systems to ensure accurate data and smooth client experience. You’ll support system setup, testing, and updates so benefit plans work as intended and clients receive reliable service.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, familiarity with benefit platforms (bswift or similar), and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) to review data and guide action.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with benefit administration systems (bswift or similar).
• Knowledge of employee benefits (health, life, disability, voluntary).
• Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Familiar with COBRA administration and carrier billing.

Responsibilities

• Launch and renew benefit sites with accuracy and care.
• Ensure system setup reflects plan rules, rates, eligibility, and client needs.
• Support a smooth experience for employees using the benefits platform.
• Identify and resolve system issues before they affect service.
• Test changes and verify data before go-live.
• Use data checks to protect quality and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Provide clear updates to clients and teammates.
• Spot process gaps and propose improvements.
• Assist with carrier and payroll feed setup.
• Contribute to special projects to improve client outcomes.
• Share ideas and coach teammates for a stronger team.
