AgileEngine is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems for a Product-led engineering team. This role uses Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB on Atlas, and Aurora MySQL on AWS, spanning tooling to system architecture.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable cloud-native services, participate in reviews, and drive observability, cost-savings, and compliance work.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional backend-focused software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Proficiency in MongoDB on Atlas.
• Proficiency in Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
• API development with GraphQL (Netflix DGS).
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance systems on a major cloud platform.

Responsabilidades

• Take on lower-priority engineering work including compliance, maintenance, cost-savings, observability, and tool development.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, performant, reliable software systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and design, validating solutions with data and experimentation.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers.
• Work with Product Manager and engineers to clarify requirements and perform mid-level design, focusing on coding, testing, and documentation.
