AgileEngine is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems using Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot, GraphQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Aurora MySQL on AWS. You will contribute to architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and focus on coding, testing, and documentation.

The role emphasizes cloud-native, distributed systems on AWS, observability, and cost-savings work, with opportunities for growth in a people-first, award-winning culture.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Proficiency with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL on AWS.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems on AWS.
• Experience with Spring Boot and GraphQL (Netflix DGS).
• Experience delivering large-scale, resilient systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews to maintain standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product and data teams.
• Work with a Product Manager to clarify requirements and implement solutions.
• Handle maintenance tasks, observability, and cost-savings initiatives.
