GEA Group is seeking a Service Engineer – Automation to provide expert automation and controls support during service interventions, maintenance, troubleshooting, and startup/commissioning of filling and packaging equipment.

You will collaborate with mechanical and process teams to ensure reliable machine performance, support customers on-site and remotely, and uphold GEA’s quality and safety standards across diverse customer sites in Colombia.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in medium-sized projects for the Nutrition Plant Engineering industry.
• Valuable knowledge of main engineering calculation and design tools.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert automation and controls support during service interventions and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and assist with startup and commissioning of filling and packaging equipment.
• Collaborate with mechanical and process teams to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams to clarify requirements.
• Contribute to improved technical solutions and project documentation.
