GEA Germany GmbH is seeking a Filling & Packing Service Engineer – Automation to provide expert automation and controls support during service interventions, maintenance, troubleshooting, and startup activities for filling and packaging equipment in the Nutrition Plant Engineering sector.

You will work on-site at customer sites across the region and remotely, collaborating with mechanical and process teams, applying your knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, sensors and industrial networks to

Formación

5+ Years of experience in medium sized projects for Nutrition Plant Engineering industry.
Knowledge of main engineering calculation and design tools.

Responsabilidades

Know manufacturing processes in the Nutrition Plant Engineering industry.
Generate pre-engineering of projects: Process dimensioning, Production time schedules, Block diagrams, P&IDs, Cleaning In Place distribution.
Coordinate with different areas (sales, procurement, external GEA offices and centers of competence, logistics, electrical and automation engineering, process engineering, project management) for manufacturing and installation of NPE equipment.
Analyze project cost and prepare schedule plans for effective implementation of this project.
Lead technical design reviews for projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Conduct technical discussions and order clarification meetings with customer/end suppliers, to ensure that the engineering meets customer and process requirements.
