GEA Group is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions for beverage, dairy and food processing lines. You will develop control sequences, programming PLCs and HMIs, and integrate SCADA systems.

You will also dimension and document automation architectures, set up networks and IO, and support FAT and commissioning activities across multi-disciplinary teams in a global company.

Formación

• Degree in engineering with focus on automation and industrial processes.
• Master’s in Automation technologies is advantageous.
• Experience with beverage, dairy or food industries is valued.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Know manufacturing processes in beverage, dairy, or food industry.
• CIP know-how and hygienic design know-how.
• Pre-engineering of automation development and scheduling of automation activities.
• Model control sequences according to P&IDs and design FDS.
• Dimensioning, software and hardware lists for automation architecture.
• Develop automation engineering using ISA standards.
• PLC programming of process and CIP sequences.
• HMI and SCADA programming.
• Set up industrial protocols networks and IO periphery.
• Commission VFDs and FAT procedures for software, electrical cabinets, skids, and documents.
• Project commissioning: IO tests, dry/wet tests and meetings.
• Product testing including water production tests and CIP procedures.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Degree in engineering career (Industrial, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics)
• Master’s degree in Automation technologies.
• Know manufacturing processes. (beverage, dairy, Liquid).
• English proficiency (B2).
• (Valuable) Formal training in Project Management.
• 5+ years of experience working as an automation engineer.
• 5+ years of experience in a process projects commissioning
• Electricity, automation, control, and pneumatics.
