GEA is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer in Bogotá to drive pre-engineering, automation development, and commissioning across beverage, dairy, and food processes.

You will design control sequences, configure PLC/HMI/SCADA, and work with industrial networks, P&IDs, and ISA standards on global projects.

The role requires 5+ years in automation, a degree in engineering, English B2, and strong teamwork in an international environment.

Formación

• Degree in engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics).
• Master's degree in Automation technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in process project commissioning.
• PLC programming with Siemens/Schneider/Rockwell; SCADA programming.

Responsabilidades

• Know manufacturing processes in beverage, dairy, or food industries.
• CIP know-how and hygienic design know-how.
• Generate pre-engineering of automation development and scheduler of activities.
• Model control sequences according to P&IDs and list entities, equipment controls, and devices.
• Develop automation engineering using ISA standards; review process engineering and support project execution.
• Setup IO periphery, VFD commissioning, FAT procedures and electrical cabinets.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Degree in engineering career (Industrial, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics)
• Master's degree in Automation technologies.
• Know manufacturing processes. (beverage, dairy, Liquid).
• English proficiency (B2).
• (Valuable) Formal training in Project Management.
• 5+ years of experience working as an automation engineer.
• 5+ years of experience in a process projects commissioning
• Electricity, automation, control, and pneumatics.
