GEA is a global leader in systems for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. We seek an Electrical Engineer to drive electrical development across planning, design, execution, commissioning and project closing, ensuring continuity and improvements.

Travel of up to 80% is required throughout the year. You will review, validate, adjust and propose ideas for project execution, coordinating with automation teams and stakeholders.

Formación

• Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN).
• Ability to interpret and design electrical diagrams (single and multi-line).
• Knowledge of electrical control, hardware lists and equipment dimensioning.

Responsabilidades

• Develop electrical engineering through planning, design, execution, commissioning and closing phases.
• Review, validate and propose improvements for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate with automation and project teams to meet schedules and milestones.
• Travel up to 80% of the year to sites and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities / Tasks

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for development the electrical engineering during different phases of a project (planning, design, execution, commissioning and closing) in order to review, validate, adjust or propose ideas or solutions for effective continuity of these or their improvements. Travel will be required, involving periods on side throughout year (up to 80% travelling time expected).

Technical Skills

• Generate pre-engineering of electrical development.
• Scheduler of electrical activities
• List of equipment controls, control modules and devices
• Dimensioning hardware list generation for electrical control
• Knowledge of suppliers of RETIE certified equipment in the region.
• Knowledge in low voltage equipment: Transformers
• UPS
• Variable Frequency Drives
• Electrical protections
• Knowledge in electrical control.
• Knowledge in pneumatic control.
• Know of electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN)
• Know main global automation brand
• Develop electrical engineering. Able to make electrical load calculate.
• Able to interpret and design electrical drawings
• Develop electrical single and multi-line diagrams.
• Review existing process engineering and make necessary changes to support project execution when necessary.
• Know main global automation brand
