HarbourVest Partners in Bogotá seeks a Client Onboarding Associate to coordinate fund closing processes across investments, sales, marketing, legal, and other teams. You will help ensure timely, efficient client onboarding and strong service orientation in a collaborative, inclusive environment. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and exposure to private market operations.

Formación

• 5+ years' experience in financial services, preferably in private equity
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of private markets is highly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Direct and coordinate activities associated with closing clients into HarbourVest's commingled fund strategies with cross-functional teams
• Work with Client Onboarding team to complete processes within planned timelines
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners to track activity, clarify statuses, and manage expectations
• Manage third-party engagement related to closing and onboarding processes
• Collaborate with the closing team to drive efficiencies and ensure consistency in procedures
• Perform other responsibilities as required

You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed. HarbourVest is seeking a Client Onboarding Associate to assist with the fund closing processes by coordinating individual efforts across the firm. This person will work with many cross functional teams such as investor relations, investment staff, legal, compliance, tax, treasury, accounting, custom solutions, and marketing to bring all parties together to build an optimal and efficient process and overall client experience.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work across multiple teams and different levels of seniority and willingness to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience with the full Microsoft suite, and proficiency with Salesforce is a plus
• Private market knowledge (highly preferred)

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate the activities associated with closing clients into HarbourVest's various commingled fund strategies, working closely with investments, sales, marketing, compliance, legal / regulatory, tax, accounting, and custom solutions
• Work closely with the Client Onboarding team members to complete the processes according to planned timelines and manage priorities across different stakeholders
• Develop working relationships with internal and external partners to keep informed about all upcoming activity by clarifying current statuses, expectations, monitoring risks, and ensuring engagement as schedules change
• Manage third party engagement in relation to the closing and onboarding processes
• Collaborate with the closing team to identify standard processes, drive for increased efficiencies and ensure consistency in procedures, and exception handling across clients
• And other responsibilities as required

Education Preferred

• Bachelor of Arts or Science (BS/BA) or equivalent experience

Experience

• 5+ years' experience in financial services preferably in private equity (Associate level)
