Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a mobile test automation engineer to automate and expand our regression suite across Android and iOS platforms.

You will build and maintain automated tests, prioritize regression tasks, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve coverage in a fast-paced environment. Must have 2+ years in mobile test automation (Kotlin preferred), Firebase and Test Lab experience, and familiarity with UiAutomator and Robolectric for Android.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mobile test automation experience (Kotlin preferred).
• Experience with Firebase and Test Lab is preferred.
• Familiar with UiAutomator and Robolectric for Android.
• Available to work 9:00–13:00 EST.

This is a remote position and we are hiring candidates from the whole country.

What you will do

• Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;
• Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);
• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;
• Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
