Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a QA/Test Automation Engineer to join a fully remote team serving clients across regions. You will automate our regression suite for mobile apps and expand coverage on iOS and Android, using Kotlin and preferred tools such as UiAutomator and Robolectric.

We offer flextime, USD-based compensation, and opportunities for education and team activities. Working hours are 9 am–1 pm EST, with the option to work from home or the office depending on needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation.
• Experience with mobile platforms (iOS/Android) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Firebase & Test Lab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate existing regression tests (~150 tests) in Test Rails.
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android.
• Prioritize automated testing tasks over new feature development.

What you will do

• Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;
• Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);
• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;
• Mandatory working hours 9 am - 1 pm EST.
