Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is hiring a mobile test automation engineer for a remote role open to candidates across Colombia.

You will automate the existing regression suite and expand automation to cover key iOS and Android features, helping replace manual regression tests and improve test coverage. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of mobile automation experience, Kotlin, familiarity with Firebase Test Lab, UiAutomator, and Robolectric, and are available for 9 am–1 pm EST.

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation.
• Experience with Kotlin is preferred.
• Familiar with Firebase & Test Lab (ideally).
• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android.
• Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.

• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, focusing on replacing manual regression tests and covering critical functionalities.
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

What you will do

• Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

• 2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;
• Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);
• Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;
• Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
