AgileEngine, LLC. is hiring for a mobile test automation engineer to join a fully remote team. You will automate our regression suite and expand coverage across iOS and Android, replacing manual tests and ensuring critical features are thoroughly tested.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of mobile test automation, experience with Kotlin, and familiarity with Firebase, Test Lab, UiAutomator, and Robolectric. The role offers EST core hours (9:00–13:00) and USD-based compensation with growth

Responsibilities

• Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests).
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities.
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
