Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring an AI Software Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. You will build production systems on top of AI models, focusing on automation rather than research.

In this remote role, you will work with a US-based team. Bring 2+ years of Python/Node.js experience, familiarity with LangChain or LangGraph, and strong API integration skills to deliver reliable automation across our tech stack.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.

What You Bring

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.
