Job summary

CAS is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to own the core portal end-to-end, shipping features and making architectural decisions in close partnership with the CEO and a web developer.

You will own a product full time, with no tickets queue or side projects, and you will work remotely from anywhere in Latin America. Strong Next.js/React, AI tooling, and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Next.js and React.
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Full working-hours overlap with US Eastern/Central time.
• Availability for exclusive, full-time work with no concurrent clients.
• Proven track record of owning projects and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the portal end-to-end, from codebase to product direction.
• Ship features and release new capabilities with CEO and web developer.
• Improve and refine the existing portal to strengthen the product.
• Make and justify technical decisions to leadership.
• Collaborate directly with leadership with no management layers.
