Job summary

DHL Colombia is seeking an AFR Team Manager to lead a team of Export and Import Operations Specialists, ensuring high-quality service and timely deliverables for customers and operations. You will supervise, train, and guide staff to align with global processes and KPI targets.

You will act as the primary liaison between the BP, customers, and the DHL network, drive efficiency, reduce process complexity, and support service excellence initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in administration, international business, finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics/ AFR experience, especially freight forwarding.
• At least 3 years of experience leading teams.
• CargoWise experience is preferred.
• Excellent English (B2-C1) and Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of AFR Freight Export and Import Operations Specialists.
• Serve as liaison between customer and DHL network to ensure optimal experience.
• Plan and organize day-to-day work of the AFR team and ensure KPI delivery.
• Provide proactive support to the Service Delivery Head with analysis and guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support service excellence initiatives.
• Ensure BP/customer documentation requirements are understood and followed.
• Monitor procedures and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Provide timely feedback and manage individual performance against IKOs/KPIs.
• Maintain regular interaction with BP and customers for service adjustments.
