Job summary

Auxis LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Delivery Leader to establish and oversee AP BPO operations for a multinational client, transitioning functions to the Costa Rica Service Center. You will supervise day-to-day AP activities, manage escalations, and drive process improvements across invoices, payments, and controls.

You will lead a team, ensure timely processing, and liaise with vendors and stakeholders. Strong English/Spanish, ERP proficiency, and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• English – Spanish language (Oral and writing B2+ or above).
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Accounts Payable Professional) a plus.
• Proven experience (4+ years) in accounts payable or similar finance role with 2+ years in leadership.
• Thorough knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex payment issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Proven track record of process improvements, vendor relationships, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Service Delivery Management: primary contact for escalated issues and AP inquiries.
• Review, process, and approve invoices with policies and controls.
• Verify invoices for accuracy and general ledger coding.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Develop relationships with key vendors and negotiate favorable terms.
• Conduct regular audits of AP transactions for compliance.
• Monitor team productivity and QA against standards.
• Support month-end and year-end closings and accruals.
• Assist audits with documentation and inquiries.
