Highwinds is seeking an Accounting & Finance Analyst to help keep the financial engine running accurately and on time. You will report to the CFO and support day-to-day accounting across receivables, payables, reconciliations, and month-end close with a focus on precision and timely reporting.

You will help leadership understand cash flow and working capital, build stronger processes, and explore automation opportunities as the company grows.

Formación

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis in fast-paced environments.
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting, GAAP fundamentals, and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
• Familiarity with ACH, wire, and online payment platforms.
• Detail-oriented with strong ownership of accuracy and deadlines.
• Excellent communication with internal teams and partners on billing/payments.
• Experience in performance marketing, lead generation, or financial services is a plus.
• Exposure to SQL, reporting tools, or accounting automation is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Perform bank, payment processor, and QuickBooks reconciliations; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation for audits and reviews.
• Assist month-end close with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; help prepare financial statements and reports.
• Prepare AR/AP aging reports and assist cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy through tools, integrations, and automation.

The Role

The Accounting & Finance Analyst keeps the financial engine of Highwinds running accurately and on time. Reporting to the CFO, you will support day-to-day accounting operations across receivables, payables, reconciliations, and month-end close, while helping leadership understand cash flow and working capital. Our business moves fast and runs on high transaction volume, with lender clients on one side and affiliate and publisher partners on the other, so precision and organization are essential. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting the numbers right and wants to help build better processes as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable & Payable: Support AR/AP operations, including client invoicing, partner payouts, payment tracking, and collections follow-up. Ensure invoices and payments align with platform data and contract terms.
• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, payment processor, and QuickBooks reconciliations. Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Records & Documentation: Maintain accurate, well-organized accounting records and supporting documentation to support audits, tax filings, and internal reviews.
• Month-End Close & Reporting: Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations, and help prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital: Prepare AR/AP aging reports and support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis to give leadership a clear view of the company's financial position.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy through better tools, integrations, and automation.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial analysis, ideally in a fast-paced or high-transaction-volume environment.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting, GAAP fundamentals, and the month-end close process.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation workbooks).
• Familiarity with ACH, wire, and online payment platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over accuracy and deadlines.
• Clear communicator who is comfortable working with internal teams and following up with clients and partners on billing and payment matters.
• Experience in performance marketing, lead generation, or financial services is a plus.
• Exposure to SQL, reporting tools, or accounting automation is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
