The Accountant I will support the Venture Global Project Accounting and Financial reconciliation, data processing and reporting

Responsibilities :

Business Partnership

• Identify effective overhead and working capital reporting/analysis to drive productivity.
• Able to utilize leading indicators across the region to identify opportunities and/or risks.
• Ensure appropriate accountability and performance standards are met and maintain high levels of confidentiality working with sensitive data.

Continuous Improvement

• Leverage AI to identify business risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements.
• Leverage common system platforms, e.g. Hyperion, Oracle (GBS, EPM).
• Be a custodian of finance systems and data.
• Be a Finance super user and be a first point of contact on system related issues.

What you will bring

• 2+ years’ significant accounting and financial experience, majority of this in role as an Accountant; minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Expertechnical and analytical accounting skills. High capability with Excel-based reports, and ability to develop efficient solutions
• Public practice or publicly traded company experience –preferable.
• Expert technical understanding of GAAP; maintains the highest professional ethics and standards.
• Communicates and operates effectively between Location, Region and Corporate demonstrating cross organizational collaboration in order to achieve the correct balance between reporting requirements
• Works effectively in a global, multi-cultural team in office environment.
