Worley seeks a Project Accountant II to join our finance team in Bogotá. The role focuses on project setup, financial handover, and ensuring alignment with contractual and financial requirements.

You will review cost and revenue performance, monitor gross margin, and support billing and accrual processes across projects. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), and experience in multinational settings.

• University degree or equivalent in related field or applicable discipline.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS & XLOOKUPS), data analysis.
• Experience in multinational environments and across locations is preferred.
• English proficiency at B1–B2 level.
• Experience in oil & gas sector desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP - GBS or similar systems desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support new project setup and financial handover activities ensuring proper project structure and controls.
• Perform weekly reviews of cost and revenue exceptions and monitor gross margin.
• Review contractual billability of resource assignments for compliance with contracts.
• Review and validate month-end accruals, overhead allocations, and gross margin.
• Follow up on cost rates, write-offs, WIP, and revenue checklist items.
• Coordinate with partners and the accounting outsourcing provider.

Responsibilities

• Support new project setup and financial handover activities, ensuring accurate project structure, controls, and alignment with approved contractual and financial requirements.
• Perform weekly reviews of cost and revenue exceptions, monitor gross margin performance, and track collections, working with project teams to resolve identified issues.
• Review contractual billability of resource assignments to ensure costs and revenue are recorded and billed in compliance with contract terms and client agreements.
• Review and validate month‑end accruals, overhead allocations, and gross margin to ensure accurate and compliant project financial results.
• Review and prepare actions of follow up related to cost rates, write‑offs, work in progress, billing in excess and revenue checklist.
• Work collaboratively and in coordination with partners and the accounting outsourcing provider.

Requirements

• University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typicaly 5 to 10 years relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPS & XLOOKUPS, and data analysis); Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills, with the desire to develop and apply problem-solving skills for our team
• Able to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in multinational companies and/or across different locations.
• Experience in the oil & gas sector is desirable (not mandatory).
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP - GBS, or similar systems is desirable.
• English proficiency at B1–B2 level.
