Hitachi Energy Chile S.A. seeks an experienced Technical Leader Manager to guide the development and delivery of innovative technology solutions.

You will lead a team of software engineers, architects, and data scientists, defining roadmaps and ensuring high-quality, scalable systems. In this role you will oversee the full lifecycle, collaborate closely with product and project management, drive technical excellence, and manage budgets and timelines to meet business goals.

Formación

• 10+ years of software development experience in areas such as Network Control Systems, EMS, GMS, SCADA or related technologies.
• 3–5 years of technical leadership or people management experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong knowledge of modern software architectures and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.
• Experience designing, developing and deploying large-scale, complex software solutions.

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Leader Manager to spearhead the development and delivery of innovative technology solutions within Hitachi, Ltd. This role demands a blend of technical mastery, leadership prowess, and strategic thinking to guide teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of highly skilled technical professionals (e.g., software engineers, architects, data scientists).

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Drive technical innovation, research new technologies, and assess their applicability to Hitachi’s product portfolio.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, security, and performance of developed solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product management, project management, and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct technical reviews, code inspections, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in software development, Network Control Systems, EMS (Energy Management Systems), GMS (Grid Management Systems), SCADA, or related technologies.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in technical leadership or people management roles.
• Solid experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale, complex software solutions.
• Advanced English proficiency, Strong knowledge of modern software architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
• Experience with project management practices and leading cross-functional teams.n for technology.
