BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Director of FinOps to establish and lead a comprehensive FinOps capability across a multi-cloud, multi-vendor technology environment. Based in New York City, you will define the operating model, build the team, and embed cost-conscious decision-making with engineering, finance, procurement, and business units.

You will drive cloud and AI cost management, develop forecasting and unit economics, and partner with stakeholders to translate insights into actionable

Formación

• 10+ years in technology finance, cloud engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years leading FinOps/tech cost management in large enterprises.
• Proven ability to build FinOps from early stage to mature operating model.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute a FinOps strategy aligned with goals across engineering, finance and business units.
• Build and lead the Technology FinOps team and operating model.
• Develop cost taxonomies, allocation rules, tagging standards, and governance.
• Create transparent allocation models by unit, product, environment, owner and workload.
• Enable showback, chargeback, forecasting, auditability, and unit economics with AI assistants.
• Oversee cost data pipelines, dashboards, alerts, and remediation workflows.
