IDB Invest seeks a dynamic Portfolio Management Officer for the Southern Cone region, covering a portfolio of private sector loans, bonds, and guarantees. The role focuses on monitoring performance and enforcing contractual compliance, with mentoring responsibilities for the Southern Cone team.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Development Studies, or related field.
• At least four years of progressive experience in supervision, structuring, credit assessment or rating.
• Spanish and English proficiency required; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with clients, agents, lenders and other parties in the portfolio.
• Monitor market trends and country developments affecting the portfolio.
• Analyze financial statements and produce supervision reports and risk ratings.
• Assess credit, environmental & social risk and track development effectiveness.
• Support Portfolio Head and mentor other officers in the region.
• Contribute to process improvements and corporate initiatives.
