IDB Invest invites a dynamic professional to join the Portfolio Management Division in Santiago, Chile, to monitor a portfolio of private sector loans, bonds, and guarantees. The selected candidate will work within the ICT Department to assess risk, validate data, and prepare reports from signature to final repayment, engaging with borrowers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least two years of credit assessment experience, and fluency in

• 2+ years of experience in credit assessment and/or rating of financial intermediaries or corporate counterparts.
• Experience in an international environment, preferably Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Spanish and English proficiency; French/Portuguese a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support Portfolio Management Officers in overseeing a portfolio of loans, bonds, guarantees, and transactions.
• Conduct data gathering, validation, and analysis to monitor counterparty performance and compliance.
• Perform financial statement analysis and assess projections to prepare risk rating proposals.
• Prepare supervision reports and assess financial and business standing of counterparts.
• Engage with borrowers, sponsors, and co-lenders; participate in client monitoring meetings.
• Develop presentations and materials for internal and external audiences, supporting developmental indicators.
