IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the IDB Group, seeks a Portfolio Management Officer for the Infra & Energy sector in the Southern Cone. You will oversee a loan, bond and guarantee portfolio, monitor performance, analyze financials, and ensure contract compliance while mentoring regional staff.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Development Studies, or related field.
• At least four years of progressive experience in supervision, structuring, credit assessment and/or rating of corporate or project finance counterparts.
• Experience in international environments and Southern Cone is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with clients, agents, lenders and other parties in the portfolio to ensure proper supervision.
• Monitor market trends and country/economic developments to assess impact on the portfolio.
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial analysis and prepare supervision reports and risk rating proposals.
• Assess credit, environmental & social risks and track development effectiveness for transactions.
• Participate in portfolio reviews, meetings, and site visits with clients and stakeholders.
• Disseminate portfolio credit-risk information and market trends to support informed decision making.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies by liaising with relevant teams.
• Respond to client requests for portfolio actions (disbursements, waivers, amendments, consents).
• Provide guidance to other Portfolio Management Officers in the Southern Cone.
• Lead actions to improve internal processes and participate in corporate initiatives.
