IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the IDB Group, seeks a Portfolio Management Consultant for the Infra & Energy sector in Santiago. You will monitor private sector loans, bonds, and guarantees from signature to repayment, coordinating with CFOs, credit risk, and legal teams, while engaging with borrowers and advisors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of credit assessment/rating experience in financial intermediaries or corporates.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English; French/Portuguese a plus.
• Citizenship must be eligible to work in Chile without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee a portfolio of loans, bonds, guarantees, transactions.
• Conduct data gathering, validation, and analysis of portfolio projects to assess performance and compliance.
• Perform financial statement analysis, analyze projections, prepare risk rating proposals and supervision reports.
• Engage with borrowers, sponsors, co-lenders, and internal counterparts.
• Prepare presentations and materials for internal and external audiences.
• Ensure compliance with internal risk policies; liaise with risk, ESG, legal, and finance teams.
• Identify and support internal process improvements.
