Ferrero Chile is seeking a Shelling Plant Manager to lead our shelling operations with accountability for production performance, continuous improvement, budget compliance and people development.

You will optimize resources, ensure food safety and quality standards, and drive operational excellence aligned with Ferrero objectives. The role requires strong leadership, ability to manage large teams, and collaboration across functions to deliver top-line results.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience leading manufacturing plants.
• Strong background in continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Experience managing large operational teams within industrial environments.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing, quality and food safety systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead shelling plant operations to achieve production, quality, safety and cost objectives.
• Optimize labor, machinery, utilities and production methods to maximize efficiency and performance.
• Drive SQCDME KPIs (Safety, Quality & Food Safety, Cost, Delivery, Motivation, Energy and Environment).
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, food safety and continuous improvement.
• Analyze operational trends and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and plant performance.
• Lead workforce planning, talent development and technical training initiatives.
• Manage resources required for production growth and operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety requirements and corporate policies.
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, HR, Finance, IT and Procurement teams.
