Sovos is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage and scale our production database environments, ensuring performance, security, and availability for our SaaS applications. You will lead complex incidents, optimize queries, and collaborate with engineers to ensure scalable designs.

Strong SQL Server expertise, hands-on production experience, and the ability to mentor peers are essential. Fluency in English is required, and occasional in-person office attendance may be needed.

Formación

• Proven experience managing production database environments and resolving performance issues.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server internals and performance tuning.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.
• Experience collaborating with product and technology teams.
• Comfort using AI-assisted tooling to improve operations.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a subject matter expert for SQL Server databases and resolve complex incidents.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning to improve query response times.
• Review query designs and schema changes for efficiency before deployment.
• Lead patches, upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery testing with minimal downtime.
• Mentor and support junior DBAs and application teams.
