Job summary

Arcadia is seeking a highly collaborative Software Engineer to join our Santiago, Chile team with a hybrid remote-first approach. You will design, build, and ship backend services in C#/.NET and REST, and create frontend features in React/TypeScript for both customers and internal users.

You’ll work across time zones with US-based engineers and mentor juniors to raise the team’s quality bar. You will expand renewable energy access across the country by delivering robust software in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern HTML/CSS.
• Strong backend fundamentals in C#/.NET including API design.
• Experience with event-driven/messaging systems like Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
• Collaborative mindset with willingness to mentor others and deliver on commitments.
• Nice-to-have experience with React ecosystem (NextJS, Node).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship backend services and APIs (C#/.NET, REST).
• Build frontend features in React/TypeScript for operations and customers.
• Model and optimize data in Azure SQL/SQL Server; write efficient queries.
• Create event-driven integrations using messaging services.
• Own features end to end from refinement to production release.
• Write tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Instrument services with logging, metrics, and alerts; troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to migration of legacy components onto a consolidated platform.
• Run code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and US-based engineers in English.
