Job summary

Arcadia, an AI-powered energy intelligence platform, seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Santiago, Chile with a hybrid remote-first approach. You will design backend services in C#/.NET, ship REST APIs, and collaborate with US-based engineers while building frontend features in React to support energy management workflows.

You will mentor junior engineers, own features end-to-end, and contribute to scalable, reliable systems in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a software engineering role.
• Strong backend in C#/.NET and API design.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Collaborative and eager to mentor others.
• Ability to work with cross-time-zone teams and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship backend services and APIs (C#/.NET, REST).
• Build frontend features in React/TypeScript for visibility into workflows.
• Model and optimize data in SQL with migrations.
• Own features end to end and participate in CI/CD releases.
• Write tests and maintain logging, metrics, and alerts.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and US-based engineers across time zones.
