Qualifications

• 8+ years professional software development experience with 3+ years in architecture-focused roles.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS with distributed components.
• Experience with explicit latency budgets (p95/p99) and durable commits in hot paths.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems including append-only logs and versioned models.
• Proven ability to design fail-open/fail-closed states and degraded-state postures.
• Experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments and tradeoffs (RLS vs schema-per-tenant).
• Strong PostgreSQL/AuroraDB expertise and experience with RLS at data level.
• Expertise building scalable RESTful APIs and SDK integrations.
• Strong coding standards, architecture docs, ADRs, and architectural reviews.
• Ability to present decisions in client security reviews and overlap US business hours.
