EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python on modern cloud platforms. The role focuses on cloud-native architectures, REST APIs, and microservices that power robust applications.

The position requires strong Python backend development skills, experience with common frameworks, and hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP). Expect collaboration with DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable systems.

Formación

• Solid experience in Python backend development.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Proven background building REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to CI/CD and modern software practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Build backend services and APIs with Python.
• Architect scalable cloud-based solutions and microservices.
• Handle databases, queues, cloud services and integrations.
• Partner with DevOps, QA, product and engineering teams.
• Take part in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Maintain code quality, security, performance and reliability.
• Assist with deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting of production systems.
