Job summary

Xe is rebuilding the platform layer behind cross‑border payments, seeking a Senior Architect to own end‑to‑end architectural problems. You will shape how the engineering org builds, from system design to implementation, reliability, and patterns that reduce future integration costs.

Daily use of AI tools will be part of architecture work. You’ll design systems for money movement, set API/integration patterns, and mentor mid‑level architects.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years building production software systems end‑to‑end.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and mentoring teams.
• Strong backend proficiency in C#/.NET with other languages.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST, and event-driven patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for Xe’s back-office and money‑movement core.
• Stay hands-on: prototype patterns and lead architecture reviews.
• Set architecture standards: API design, observability, security.
• Lead cross-cutting architecture decisions and mentor staff.
• Lead how AI is used in architecture across SDLC.
