Xe.com is hiring a senior backend engineer to own problems end-to-end, from API design and data modeling through to service implementation, production reliability, and launch. You already use AI as part of how you think, build, test, and ship.

You'll design and move money in production, build backend services for multi-currency balances, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, compliance, and operations on cross-domain decisions.

Formación

• 6 to 10+ years building production backend services, end-to-end.
• Strong backend proficiency in C# / .NET; other OOP languages welcome.
• SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Writing and maintaining tests.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools across the SDLC.
• Production experience with AWS and modern deployment practices.
• Strong system design and architecture experience.
• Payments, FX, or regulated-industry experience.
• Technical leadership: mentoring engineers and leading design reviews.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design and own backend services that move money and manage multi-currency balances.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with product, compliance, and operations from problem framing through launch.
• Lead the build of partner integrations and settlement infrastructure.
• Own production health for your domain, including reliability, observability, on-call, and incident response.
• Lead design reviews, set technical direction, and mentor mid-level engineers.
• Use agentic coding tools daily across the SDLC and modernize legacy services with architects.
