Job summary

Insight Global’s client seeks a Senior Back Office Architect to modernize enterprise financial platforms, designing scalable, reliable systems for money movement and core processing. This senior hands-on role bridges product and engineering, translating business goals into technical solutions.

You will lead architecture across teams, set governance and standards, mentor architects, and ensure security, observability, and regulatory compliance while remaining hands-on with design and development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years software development and architecture experience.
• Experience with enterprise-scale systems and legacy modernization.

Responsibilities

• Own and modernize architecture of back-office financial systems (ledgers, settlements, reconciliation, treasury, money movement).
• Lead architecture design, reviews, and technical direction across engineering teams.
• Stay hands-on with system design, prototyping, and development while guiding implementation of complex solutions.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to align architecture with goals.
• Introduce governance, best practices, and processes to support growth.
• Mentor architects and technical leads while promoting modern technologies and continuous improvement.
