Job summary

Xe.com is hiring a senior QA engineer to own quality end-to-end, shaping testing strategy from design to release gating. You will work with engineering, product, and compliance to ensure reliable money movement through cross-border payments.

In a small team, you will mentor mid-level QA engineers, lead architecture decisions, and advocate AI-assisted testing. You will design integration tests across partner APIs and own CI/CD quality with release gates in a modern stack.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years building production test automation.
• Strong automation in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python/C#, with architecture experience.
• SQL fundamentals for test data and debugging.
• API testing (Postman) and UI automation (Playwright/Cypress).
• Performance, load, or resilience testing (k6, JMeter).
• Ability to write and run manual tests where appropriate.
• Daily use of AI tools in SDLC for test generation.
• AWS production experience and CI/CD ownership (GitHub Actions).
• Payments or regulated-industry familiarity.
• Proven QA technical leadership and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and own integration test harnesses and contract tests for money flows.
• Lead the design of the test automation that gates code into production, across onboarding, KYC and KYB, payment initiation, FX, settlement.
• Balance manual and automated testing; write test cases and drive automation.
• Own CI/CD quality strategy, release gates, and incident investigations.
• Lead test architecture reviews and mentor engineers.
• Use AI test tools daily and build the test estate on the modern stack.
